Claims

When something happens to your gear, we go to work.

Report a claim any time, day or night. Use your carrier's dedicated claims line first for the fastest response, then let us know so our team can advocate on your behalf.

What to do first

Four steps that keep your claim moving.

Step 1
Get to safety

If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 911 first. Secure the venue, studio, or storefront before anything else.

Step 2
Report the loss

Call your carrier's claims line below — they'll open the claim and assign an adjuster right away.

Step 3
Document everything

Serial numbers, photos and video, police report numbers, set lists, receipts and appraisals. Save it all in one place.

Step 4
Loop us in

Email claims@emerywebb.com so our team can advocate for you throughout the process.

Carrier claims hotlines

Report directly to your carrier, 24/7.

These are the markets where the Music Insured program places business. Not sure who your carrier is? Check your declarations page or contact us and we'll look it up.

A service most agencies don't offer

We don't just sell the policy — we help you through the claim.

Emery & Webb has a dedicated in-house claims team whose only job is helping clients get claims paid fairly and quickly. It's included with your policy, at no additional cost.

We file and follow the claim with you

Most agencies hand you a phone number. Our in-house claims team opens the claim, tracks the adjuster, and stays on it until the file closes.

A real person on your file

You get a named claims representative in our Fishkill office — not a call center queue — who knows your policy and your gear.

We push back when it matters

Disputed instrument valuation, slow payment, coverage questions? We review the policy language and advocate with the carrier on your behalf.
