Music Insured is the music-industry specialty program of Emery & Webb, Inc., an independent insurance agency with its principal office at 989 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524. This policy is maintained by the agency and applies to musicinsured.com and to the information we handle as your insurance broker.

• Information you give us — name, address, email, phone number, instrument and equipment schedules, studio, storefront and tour details, payroll and revenue figures, claims history, and other underwriting information you submit through our forms or provide to a producer.
• Information from third parties — insurance carriers, consumer and motor vehicle reports, loss-history databases, and premium finance companies, used to quote, place, and service coverage.
• Website information — pages viewed, referring site, browser type, and similar technical data collected through standard web logs and, where enabled, analytics cookies.

We use personal information to quote and place insurance, service policies, process certificate and billing requests, report and support claims, comply with insurance laws and carrier requirements, and communicate with you about your coverage. We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed to do the work you have asked us to do or as the law requires: with insurance carriers, wholesalers and program administrators, premium finance companies, claims adjusters, and service providers that support our agency operations under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information in response to lawful requests from regulators, including the New York State Department of Financial Services.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect nonpublic personal information, consistent with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the New York Department of Financial Services cybersecurity regulation (23 NYCRR Part 500). Access to client data is limited to employees and partners who need it to serve you. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain client and policy records for as long as we service your account and afterward for the periods required by insurance recordkeeping and tax rules, then dispose of them securely.

You may request access to the personal information we maintain about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and ask questions about our practices. Residents of some states have additional rights; tell us where you live and we will honor the rights that apply.

If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may direct us not to make those disclosures, other than disclosures permitted or required by law or necessary to quote, place, or service coverage you have asked us to obtain. Our site uses cookies that are necessary for the site to function and, where enabled, analytics cookies that help us understand which pages are useful. Cookies identify you as a user, not as an identifiable person, and we do not use them to retrieve information from your device that you did not provide. This site links to carrier quoting tools, the client portal, payment pages, and other third-party sites for your convenience. Those sites operate independently and may have privacy practices that differ from ours. Much of the information we handle as an insurance broker is regulated by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and state insurance privacy laws and is exempt from state consumer privacy statutes. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, or a comparable state law does apply, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy of it, to request correction of inaccurate information, to request deletion subject to legal and recordkeeping exceptions, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we use sensitive personal information only for permitted insurance purposes, so the rights to opt out of sale or sharing and to limit the use of sensitive personal information do not apply. Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 16 except in connection with insurance products where it is required by law or contract.
